Across Nigeria, especially in rural communities, children sit on bare floors in overcrowded, crumbling buildings, if there’s a building at all.

Yet, every child deserves a safe, clean, and inspiring place to learn.

We’re on a mission to change that.

Our Goal

To build and rehabilitate public school classrooms in rural Nigeria using eco-friendly materials, smart designs, and the help of kind-hearted Nigerians like you.

Each project includes:

Each complete school project costs ₦4 million to ₦6 million, depending on the state and level of rehabilitation needed.

But we’re not stopping at classrooms

What good is a classroom if no one is willing to teach in it?

Here’s the ugly truth:
NYSC corpers posted to rural schools either:

Run away
Negotiate their way back to town
Or show up once in two weeks

Why? No housing. No light. No water.
They’re not lazy, they’re just not supported.

We want to fix that.

Enter the Corper Lodge Project

Each school we adopt will also get:

5 flats with 2 bedspaces each (enough for 10 corpers)
Solar-powered electricity (to charge phones, laptops, and lights)
Water system for sanitation

This ensures that NYSC members:

Stay present in the community
Teach consistently
Share current knowledge
Mentor and inspire students
Help schools build extracurricular activities and better exam performance

Imagine a child in Benue or Akwa Ibom being taught coding, creative writing, or spoken English by a corper who isn’t stressed, displaced, or mentally checked out.

Why it matters

Most students in these communities are already at a disadvantage:

No learning materials
No exposure to the outside world
Poor teacher-to-student ratio
And almost zero digital access

This initiative brings life, energy, and real education into the places Nigeria often forgets.

And it does so sustainably, with accountability, and long-term impact.
